Recognized for Outstanding Service Performance

“And the winner is ... “ our customers!

It’s a phrase repeated over and over at achievement award ceremonies of all kinds, from the Academy Awards to sports awards and customer awards. At four award ceremonies held so far this year, Team Reddaway has brought home outstanding service performance awards.

We are proud and grateful for the many recognitions Reddaway and its employees have already received this year. They include:

  • 2015 Western Regional Carrier of the Year from Worldwide Express
  • 2015 Regional LTL Carrier Partner of the Year award from Unishippers Global Logistics
  • 2015 Carrier of the Year - Western Region from GlobalTranz (for the fifth time since 2009)
  • 2015 Western Regional LTL Platinum Award from Echo Global Logistics (second year in a row)

The exact criteria for each of these awards differ, but they all come down to the same basic qualification: providing customers with higher quality service than our competitors in the region we serve. Reddaway IS “Best in the West.”

“Each of these awards points out the success of Team Reddaway in consistently providing outstanding service,” said T.J. O’Connor, Reddaway CEO and President. “The members of Team Reddaway are relentless in their efforts to support our customers with consistent delivery performance excellence. My thanks to each of these customers and to the Reddaway employees whose hard work helped earn these awards.”

In addition to customer awards, Reddaway also recently earned an important industry safety recognition. The Oregon Trucking Associations named Reddaway as its first place winner in the Common Carrier - LTL over five-million-mile category. The award is based on a miles-driven-to-collisions ratio. This award recognizes that Reddaway is the safest carrier in the over five-million-mile category on Oregon’s roads.

Our designation as a safety leader is made possible by the individual contributions of our thousands of professional drivers, each striving to build their personal safety records. A shining example of that professionalism is Reddaway three million mile linehaul driver Scott Bunn who was selected as the 2016 Truck Driver of the Year by the Nevada Trucking Association for his exemplary record of safe and courteous driving as well as safety mentorship and training. Scott is also a recent recipient of the 2016 Destination Green Environmental Excellence Award for championing sustainability, and the Nevada Master Truck Driver award.

Throughout the western states and Canada, drivers like Scott join the rest of Team Reddaway in striving every day to not only deliver freight, but to deliver outstanding service to the shippers who partner with Reddaway.
